Great breakfast! Very nice and attentive staff! A little “old school”... but I like that kind of stuff.

Always the best breakfast in town..

Wasn't super impressed. It was my first time & I personally wouldn't go back. The food was mediocre and the waitress we had completely forgot to come back and get our order. The other people that were with us got their food and almost ate it all before she came back to us. Maybe it was just an off day cause I know my family that lives in the area loves this place but sometimes the first impression is the most lasting.

Fantastic staff, quick service, many different menu options. Wonderful experience my first time there, and I will be back the next time I am in Elizabeth City.

It was ok. Waffle was too flakey, kept falling apart. The syrup had no sweet taste to it. Ordered an omelette as well, wasnt too bad. Service was definitely nice.

WORST EXPERIENCE. RUDE WAITRESS. MOLDY FOOD. When we Were greeted, it was really unprofessional and then my drink was wrong. When I complained about it, she just said "OK thanks for letting me know." I asked for a different drink and then didn't get one for about 15 minutes until I asked her, just to find out she had forgotten about it. When our food came, I did not get the pickles that I had asked for, and there was a black substance in my butter for my potato that they claimed to be toast bits when I complained, and then nothing was done about it. No manager ever checked in despite multiple complaints to multiple waitress, And when I complained about the butter, she scoffed at me. Halfway into my sandwich, my fiance spotted mold on it, as well as a hair on his plate. If I could give this place negative stars I would!

I've been here several times. I like their breakfast. This visit was specifically for their special on Wednesday's since my family member wanted to try out their stuffed peppers special (only on Wednesday). I got the biscuit with bacon and cheese, scrambled eggs with cheese, and crispy corned beef hash. I liked all of my food. I love that they have corned beef hash. My relative reallyyyyyy loved the stuffed peppers (hamburger, rice, and red sauce). She said she would definitely order it again. This restaurant is a favorite of my family members. I go here about once every three months. It is a local hotspot. If you love good country cooking then stop by. It isn't great for everything but they do breakfast well, the peppers, and fried chicken for sure!!! Great service all the time. Friendly servers. FYI - we usually seat ourselves. Reasonable prices too!

Delicious! The server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Pretty busy when we went, but we got our food in very little time. I'd personally recommend the mozzarella sticks, we got them both times and they were amazing!

Just beat the church morning rush. Still busy because this place is GOOD. Staff is super friendly. Food came out quick. Tasted just like a fresh farm market breakfast. For out of town travelers this place is a must. You will be dared to compare it to your own favorite breakfast spot back home. For locals, it's a staple

Small portions and not sure what they use for the sausage patties but it wasn't anything I've ever had before. Not impressed.

Friendly staff, food was really good. Had the rueben sandwich, it was just a little soggy from the kraut being folded in the middle of the corned beef slices. Hubby had the patty melt, he enjoyed very much. Will visit again.

Excellent service very clean and respectable place fresh food prepared expertly. Ample parking with clean and well-kept parking lot.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Came in with a party of 8... and a gentleman who worked there threw his hands up and seemed VERY upset to have 8 people. Saying “where am I gonna put 8 people?!” RUDE!!!!! If I had 8 a people come to my place of business I would be very happy to serve them. Will NEVER return due to this mans POOR attitude!!!!

I usually dine in here for breakfast, which is always great. Only place I know that serves bacon soft or crispy. This time we ordered a hamburger steak with gravy & onions to eat at home. It was without a doubt, the best we have ever eaten!

I was very disturbed that none of the employees were masks. I certainly understand they can be hot to wear, but during this time they are essential for staff that come in contact with a lot of people. The manager or owner was very busy and very short with people. It was very busy, but I believe that's what restaurants want. Therefore, whoever is seating people needs to maintain their cool and make people feel welcome. The food is very good. I've eaten here several times before

Food is very good.. I recommend the pancakes, if in the mood for breakfast (ps. the short stack is 2 'large' pancakes & very filling), or if in the mood for dinner then I recommend the hamburger steak (very juicy) which also comes with 2 sides + dessert.. staff is also very friendly. (No 5th star, simply because the place in serious need of an update)... good food, good price, friendly staff, but atmosphere is 'ehhh'..

It was ok as far as the food. The bathrooms were not big enough to get a wheelchair through the door and the cheese cake was not good at all.

Great casual family place, you get a lot of good food for your money.Friendly service, very busy in the mornings, especially weekend mornings. But always worth the wait time. Nice variety of food choices on the menu, from breakfast all day, to prime rib on the weekends.
